Eko Asked to Be Killed Off Lost

I can’t imagine asking to be killed off one of the most successful primetime dramas in recent history but that is what happened with Mr Eko, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje.

Akinnuoye-Agbaje asked to be written off the series. After losing both parents last year, he wanted to return to his London home and work on a film he’ll direct.

Many people think Eko is just the latest casualty of the Hawaiian police department. Eko was just recently arrested for what seems to be common place on the Lost set, a DUI.
Elizabeth Mitchell, who plays Juliet, got to know him off the set. “We got along really well,” she says. “He’s about to direct his first movie about his life, which is an incredible story. He’ll be missed.”

Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje aka Mr. Eko Arrested

Following in the footsteps of two other “Lost” stars, Adewale Akinnuoye-Agbaje, also known as Mr. Eko, was arrested Saturday, September 2nd for traffic violations.

According to reports, Adewale was arrested for driving without a license and disobeying a police officer. Eko paid $500 and was released on bail.

Michelle Rodriguez (Ana Lucia) and Cynthia Watros (Libby) were both arrested for drunken driving in November 2004.
