Andy,

The main reason I think that no one has responded to your post is because a new thread has begun on the next episode.
Usually the commenting all begins in the forum for the new episode, and people stop posting on the old one.

Another reason may be that because that topic has already been debated by most of the users on this site on numerous occasions and it is not a fresh debate that is beginning to come close to getting solved. Sorry if I seem rude, Im not intending to be, but thats the main reason I would assume.

About there being an "inner circle", this isnt LOST, there are no main characters and redshirts, the only thing I can tell ya is to keep posting. Most of us are posting theories and comments several times a week, so maybe we seem more familiar with one another because we are on morefrequently, but its a public forum, anyone with good theories and ideas is welcome to participate bro. So just keep involved. I think we all enjoy fresh ideas on this forum.

Hi again,
I posted a few comments suggestions at 134 but so far not a single comment in response. This is not the first time this has happened either.
It feels like only comments from an inner circle of contributors are worthy of acknowledgment.
I am particularly keen to hear any views re my Adam and Eve suggestion.

Biglostfan,

I get what youre saying. It does make sense. I can see it being a possibility. Very clever thinking. but I think that Eloise has more to do with being in touch with the future in some way rather than just reading it in a journal.

Like how the hell did she know that the window would open and allow the survivors to get back to the island on the Ajira 316 flight?

I like to think she is a naturally wise, not just someone that just reiterates shit she found in her dead sons journal

Oh and the scene with Faraday crying in front of the TV, I think because he said he was sorry about Theresa and said that he had tested his time machine thingiee on himself first that it explained why his memory had gone bad, I bet somehow he traveled to the future, I mean when Desond met him at oxford he basically helped him with the correct formula and told him somewhat about the future, so after Desmonds visit he had some sort of incline about the future events that were going to happen. Perhaps Desmond had been his constant for longer than we realize. Still haven't figured out why he called the mouse Eloise, after his mother? is there some sort of connection there with the time traveling thing.

My bet is that Jack and Kate get Faradays Journal, read it and makes sure that Doc Candle sees it and he begins to do experiments to create the time machine. Or perhaps young hostile Eloise gets a hold of the Journal, reads it and this is how she knows whats going to happen in the future. Which makes sense after what she said to Penny in the hospital about this is the first time in a long time that she doesn't know whats going to happen next--because Faradays Journal only went to as far as he knew. does this make sense to anyone.

Jason,
I'm with you, just when I think I have it figured out, I realize that I really have no idea whats going on. I have been going back and watching some of the past episodes( they play them on scifi channel and G4, here in the US)and its cool cause I'm reminded of things that I had forgotten. At first I thought this would help, but I soon found it only raises more questions and usually debunkes my theories!

But watching these past episodes I realized they have been so focused on showing us the little things that we forget about the bigger picture here sometimes.Like WHY IS ALL THIS STUFF HAPPENING. I'm really beginning to think that this is all some elabrate live action Chess Game.

Hello All. From the link posted in post #69 Carlton says:
"...we accept the fact that in the end of the day there will, probably, you could ask a spectrum of a thousand different fans “Well what question did you not get answered?” and there might be a thousand different answers, but we are focusing on what we consider to be the main questions of the show and the main narrative. It's impossible to tie up every loose end, and we don't really consider, honestly...For us, the focus of the final season really has to be on the main characters and what would generally be acknowledged as the most significant mysteries."

So personally I'm not expecting I'll get all my queries answered after this show is over, as to be very true, they cannot tie up all the loose ends. Side effect of the ever thrilling episodes we've been getting from them, I guess. They have made it so mysterious, that its even impossible for themselves to solve everything, keeping up the same standard of the show.
