There’s No Place Like Home Video Previews
Here’s 3 video previews of this week’s Lost entitled “There’s No Place Like Home”. Not only does it suggest that the O6 is going home, but its another subtle reference to The Wizard of Oz.
Sawyer meets back up with Jack and Kate. Informs them that Claire is gone, and warns Jack against going after Keamy. Jack seems pretty mobile for someone who just had some pretty unsanitary surgery.
Ben communicates with mirrors to the others in what appears to be the temple.
Sayid does indeed make it back to the island

Locke communicating with mirrors - could mirrors be a clue? I haven’t seen this season yet, but earlier people were discussing Locke’s scar moving sides. Wouldn’t you get that effect if he was sometimes seen through a mirror?

the mirrors are a way of flashing the light from the sun. Its so people in the mountain (i think thats where ben was flashing) can see the flash from the mirror and know the location of each other.
You can also use mirrors as a way to send morse code messages. With beams of light instead of sound.
Scott, thanks for the preview videos. I really enjoy reading your episode intros and the recaps esp the parts where you usual add a subtle sense of humor.
I cant wait to watch the show tomo.hope it answers many questions.
the mirror that Ben is using is a means of optical communication which is used just like Adam described. it can also be used to send morse code messages.
