Here are a couple of video previews of this weeks lost called Cabin Fever.
Desmond and Sayid see what happens to smokeys victims. Also I see Doc Ray in the background..and he’s not dead now.
Locke tells everyone about Ben’s murder spree, and says they’re going to go see them.
Michael seems to have taken quite a beating for being a spy.
Horace seems a nice guy. Even though he has random nose bleeds and claims to have been dead for 12 years.

live chat this week??? Wait so are they back from the island at this point (army guys) Another person whose on the isaland we have never scene before??? Writers are brilliant they got us by the balls and can introduce new characters whenev. because of the time travel and flash backs\forwards they can manipulate the show any way they want….mfers.

Adam - Yes it appears that these people are off the island and back to the boat. Smokey might not have killed them but he definetly put the smack down on a couple of them!
I need to comment soon and hear thoughts on this episode soon….so many things to think about now that i think smoke alarms and crap like that are meaningless….has to be something more… cant be something I have to pause and zoom in on has to be more….

I saw the geronimo thing in his locker as well but wasn’t sure what it was. I think they have shown it somewhere in Lost before. What is it?
Desmond or Ben in that Casket? Only two people who make sense.
Geronimo is a fiictional band the Lost creators say supposedly “actually” exsisted. Hurley had picked up a ablum in the record store one time. When Locke was living in the commune….the charactor he picked up hitch hiking (forgot his name) had a geronimo TShirt on.

Claire is so dead, isn’t she? That’s why she appeared so placid and not really caring where Aaron was.
Maybe they’re going to “move” the island down to the Antartic, which would explain why Ben was wearing a huge eskimo jacket when he woke up in the desert a few eps ago!

I think Clarie is dead as well. I mentioned the idea after last week’s episode after she took a rocket to her house and didnt have a scratch. Also, Miles seemed to be alot nicer to her all of a sudden asking to carry Aaron for her.
There’s no telling what “move the island” means though. I dont even have a guess at what will happen with that.
I LOVE the IDEA of Anartica…. Why else would DI have tests doe on polar bears…!!! BUT!!!! the only thing. The creators and powers that be finacially are not going to be shouting on location in Anartica. I can’t forsee them turning Hawaii into that polar region…lol. They already do anamazing job polling off England, Australia, Korea, US, Nigeria, Iraq, etc….on that tropical island…how would they pull off Anartica???
Again though, I LOVE the theory…in many ways I hope it goes in that direction…(don’t forsee it though).
I feel an arguement for her being dead or alive is good. One thing to think about is…maybe se now has a better understanding of how the island works by talking to Jacob through Christian.(her father).
Part of me feels the island knows that the Oceanic 6 will actually become the Oceanic 6 and that Aaron is the key(motivation..etc) for them having to “…We got to go BAAAAACKKK” to get to the island. I also feel we will discover how Jack will actually discover his potential as a Leader to which he has shown moments of awareness but not in the direction to which the island will help to guide him interm of his destiny…..
I said it before….I’ll say it again….I feel that it is actually Kate’s mother in the Casket.

when Jack read that note in the papers in the season 3 finale he was shocked and very moved. I don’t think his reaction would be from reading about the death of Kate’s mother - but rather someone much closer to him, someone he has been through with a lot - someone like SAYID! Perhaps someone of Widmore’s people eventually got to him…
… or it could be Hurley in the casket. That poor fella might succumb to suicidal thoughts… just a theory.
Since Jack wants “to crash” as he told Kate in the 3rd season finale and is flying from LA to Sydney and Singapore, the island must still be somewhere in the south pacific.
I think “Cabin Fever” was the absolute best episode in a long time as it picked up on the original mythology of the show the producers layed out in the 1st season… maybe it’s got to do with the flashbacks

Are you guys talking about the casket from the last season? I thought we decided that it couldn’t be anyone from the Oceanic 6 because they’d have a lot more publicity at the funeral, rather than no one turning up except for Jack?
Besides, I don’t think it’s Hurley, because Jack saw Hurley after that. I’m not sure of the timeline, but Jack and Kate got together after they met up with each other at the airport, right? So if that’s true, Jack saw Hurley after the funeral scene.
I think it’s Michael, because the funeral parlour was in the urban part of town. Michael doesn’t have much family and even though he betrayed the rest of them, we don’t know what has happened in the meantime; so he might have done something great to make Jack mourn for him.

I agree that it is Michael. I said it during that episode that it had to be Michael in the casket. He betrayed everyone on the island, but Jack still has a sentimental attachment to him because of the experience on the island. If it isnt Michael in the casket, I will be shocked.
Also, I believe the producers said that we will find out who is in the casket before the end of season 4. Which would make sense for them to kill off Michael, since he probably will not be back for season 5.
Im certain that Michael will somehow redeem himself for betraying everyone, only to die before the end of saeson 4 and end up being the body in the casket.
I dont think it is Michaelin the Casket. surely his mom and walt would be there right?
Also Jacks timeline is he got off the island, helped kate during the trial, they got together, he then becomes addicted to pills and booze, then he starts flying every where to get back to the island and ends with him getting back in touch with kate by the airport….My theory is he cant find it because locke has found a way to “move it” His tieline can be figured out by picking up on things said in his flashbacks.
Im also starting to think jacob is the Island and not an actual person.
I think the casket is Desmond and or Ben. I dont have any overwhelming evidence just a hunch.
Could it be that the island chooses a person for a specific period of time? Maybe when whidmore says ben took the island from him and he’s going to get it back means Whidmore was chosen by the island at some point, then Ben, and now Locke.
The ad that Jack had regarding the funeral said survived by a son in New York so it has to be Michael!!
Keep in mind….that the ONLY person Jack called was ….Kate…
not Hurley, not Sun, Sayid….etc.
In this season episode where Kate was in court…(when Kate’s mom showed up). She had already mentioned she had no one left in her life and that she would like to get to know her grandchild…(kate declined on the request) plus….Kate’s mom mentioned she didn’t have long to live.
Pluuuuuussss In the season finally of season 3 when Jack called Kated he said he was sorry to see that….but then he stopped short (cleavor writting).
Michael… Well if any of you watched the 2007 comic con video in San francisco the creators mentioned that the Charactor Michael from the very begining of the concept of the whole show he(Michael)had always been an intricated (important) charator and his relationship with the island. I just don’t think its Michael in that coffin. Or Sayid for that matter…since he was one of the Oceanic 6. (Press would be alllll over it)

i thought this episode was very good and im happier with second part of season 4 than the first part! Now we are sure that there is a time difference in the island since the doc was murdered now but was found a few days ago in the island… so that means that the losties are ahead of time! so maybe the producers will play with that, meaning that if they know this and that happened before, they can maybe prevent it from happening… idk, just a thought.
about jacob, i was a bit disappointed! i dont know why jack’s dad is in there… about claire, i think she’s dead… as one of you said, she was too calm and no stressed at all, for god sakes, she’s in an obscur cabin with the father she never got along with who suddenly appears in the island! or else, she’s been brainwashed…
something nobody has mentionned is Alpert… what the hey!? he was EXACTLY the same age than he was now, at present time… there is something really strange about that!
ah, about the coffin… i dont think its kate’s mum… i believe is michael.
WAlt hates him (or doesnt want anymore contact with him), reason why nobody was at the funeral.
I think we’ll discover this by season finale…
I can’t understand the meeting between locke and Alpert when locke was a kid. Why did he asked if he remember the things he used when he was (oe will be) in the island? And than eko`s brother appeared to him…
I heard from the authors that the empty coffins jack found has a link to ideia of the serie. Do you think jacks dad could be alive?
Other question. If the island is in the future, why when farraday made the test with the rocket It arrived first to the people on the boat, e some seconds after in the island.
i came up with the theory about the artic a few episodes ago! i didnt like the idea of clare being dead but it looks like its coming to fruition.
a good episode, a lot more answers this second half of the series.
One)…..The man pushing Locke while in the wheel chair was NOT Ecko’s brother Semi.
Two)…..Why in the world did Locke NOT remember who Alpert was when he met him again back on the island?
