The Shape of Things to Come | Lost Episode 4.09 Trailers

More proof Aaron is the 6th of Oceanic 6. Looks like a war is imminent on the island.

Pretty similar to the first one, but a little longer.

Can’t WAIT!!! Was that a Polar Bear roar that made Locke look….???

2

it seems like claire is killed by the freighter people, when hurley says was that claires house. maybe they blew it up with her inside

3

Good catch Black foxx. I missed Hurley saying that when I watched it.

OH MAN.. I DONT BELIEVE ITS GONNA BE A MONTH.. THIS IS SO BORING.. WHATS THE MATTER WITH LOST AND THIS WAITING THING..!

The writers strike that was going on a few months ago resulted in them not writing the 2nd half of season 4. Luckily the strike was resolved and the writers of Lost decided to go back to work immediately in order to finish up what they could this season. This is more than many other shows did.

I agree I hate the wait, but I also agree that the writers weren’t getting their fair share of money from the shows they were putting out. I’m glad they had a successful strike.

Lost will be back on April 24th at 10:00pm.

I heard they shortened season 4 from 16 to 13 episodes due to writers strike. Does anyone know if this is true?

7

As I understand it, ABC originally intended to air 16 episodes, to be followed by two additional 16-episode seasons in 2009 and 2010. However, the WGA strike interrupted production of Season 4 and altered the original plan. Having only eight episodes completed by the time of the strike, ABC decided to premiere in early 2008 as intended, instead of holding episodes over to the next season. Following the resolution of the strike on February 12, 2008, a further five episodes were/will be produced, bringing the total number of episodes to 13. The remaining three episodes will be folded over into the last two seasons.

hi Scott,
This site has become one of my favourite and from the start of season 4 ( the time i came to know of this site) I have been following this site regularly. You are doing a kewl and great job :))

Looking at these trailers i think that teh freighter people killed Karl and Rousseau. But i have afeeling that Rousseau will not die because her story is not yet complete.

9

@Duke: I don’t think they were the freighter people, I’m not sure who did it, but I do think Ben contacted someone to shoot them (whoever he/she is, they are good at shooting o.O).

I don’t know if Rousseau really is dead, again I do think so, but you never know. She wasn’t one of the main characters imo, so they wouldn’t really think of a big story for her.

10

A good way to find out if Rousseau is dead or not is find out if the actress got issued a DUI in Hawaii. This seems to be the kiss of death for Lost characters!

11

Thanks for the words Duke.

I think Rousseau is alive. The writers have said we will learn more about the Blackrock in the future and I think Rousseau is the only logical person to fill in that storyline. We haven’t seen any flashbacks from her yet and I think they are on the way. Hopefully we will get some Alex flashbacks as well so we can find out how Ben came to have her and not Rousseau.

12

I agree with Scott, Rousseau is alive and will be the one to tell Locke’s crew what happened. Plus i think there is a huge gap in the story line from the blackrock to her killing her people. Also we need to know how Ben got Alex. Rousseau will have a flash back i hope.

13

Not sure about Rousseau, I think she is dead or will die soon(i.e. not sure if she just dropped dead right there). I agree that her story line isn’t told yet though, but is it against the lost rules to go to her flash back even though she has passed away. I’ve always thought that maybe she didn’t kill “all” of her crew and that they would be revealed in later shows. Maybe Montand is the guy in the orientation video’s, Marvin Candle (aka Mark Wickmund and Edgar Halowax in different films). Candle has a prosthetic arm in the swan film. This is all guessing though, I don’t have anything to back it up. Just thought it would be a pretty cool twist.

We still need to know how Ben was caught by Rousseau in the net.
Was it all planned by Ben? as things normally are but he did take a chance with that arrow in his shoulder.

If so he must have know that Rousseau was still alive. So why did he leave her there out in the jungle all alone??

So i guess she is still alive to tell her side of that story.

Sambo:
I think Ben got himself caught as his way to get to Michael to get to Jack. The wounded captive trick seems to be a reaccuruing theme. Micheal shot himself after shotting Libby and Anna, Sayid also shot himself after letting Nadia go when he was with the Iraqi Republican Guard. Although in the case of Ben I think it was actually Rousseau who shot him.
Really can’t wait for the next episode though, looks like it could contend for the best of the season so far.

16

Hurley looks a tad bit concerned in that clip. If Aaron gets off the island, Claire has to die somehow. I can’t envision a scenario where should would stay and he’d go.

Ben knew all about Rousseau and her life, as on season3 boxset there are deleted scenes, and one is locke asking ben why he never told alex about her mother, and ben replies, cos she killed all her people and lives in the jungle, she;s crazy. its on youtube. locke’s asking this en route to see jacob. why it was deleted…typical of the producers to remove any interesting facts!! but check it out its cool. i agree, we need to know so much more about her and ben and alex and the whole black rock saga. esp in her radio message she was saying we’re going back to the black rock, its out there etc, and as mentioned above..how ben was caught in a net, and rousseau saying “he will lie for a long time, he IS one of then..she knows him too.” I am waiting for their relationship to be explained but i doubt they ever will. As far as her being dead..i doubt it 100% because she was not shot in the head or heart, just under the shoulder, this would not kill anyone straight away, in that long grass she would easily put pressure on it and crawl into the thicket and take aim. she lived for 16yrs evading the others (perhaps..) and is a dam good shot. as ben said, “ur mother will take care of you” but i defo think its Keemy and his chums, not Richard et al from the temple. peace.

18

I can’t wait for the 24th… I’m so excited!

19

Jim–
I definitely think Rousseau’s story will be revealed and it seems she definitely isn’t dead. Also I’ll have to check out that deleted scene…something has come across me that Rousseau could be an other and then turned against them for some reason. I don’t think a human being could live his/her life alone for 16 years! How did she get all of that equipment to shock Sayid? Maybe Ben had her put him in her trap to start the whole thing with the Losties…any ideas?

The scene with Jin buying a panda was a FLASHBACK NOT A FLASHFORWARD!
