Ready for a few sneak peaks at this weeks episode of Lost entitled The Economist? Video 1 shows Sayid in some kind of prayer mode who then who thankfully goes to close Naomi’s eyes. The poor girl has been dead for quite some time and her empty glass stare was really starting to bother me. As Sayid is covering her up, he notices a bracelet that seems to really get his attention. He takes it off and looks at the inscription which says “N. I’ll Always Be With You. R.G.”. The N apparently standing for Naomi, the R.G. a little less obvious. Some have guessed that it stood for Republican Guard, which Sayid was a member of and thats why he was so interested in it. Some have speculated that the N. stands for Nadia who was the prisoner that Sayid loved and let escape. What do you think it means and why was Sayid so determined to be one of the first off the island after seeing it?
In the second clip we see the group visiting the Others baracks to find Locke and the gang. What they find is that the place seems to be deserted, but they here some one yelling for help. They find Hurley tied up and gagged in the closet. Hurley says Locke tied him up and left the grounds with Charlotte as his hostage. To me Hurley seems very nervous as if he’s not telling the truth. We also have seen in commercials that Locke is at the barracks. So I think that this is a little bit of mind games to through Jack and the freighter people off. I think Locke is still somewhere there and Hurley is in on the con. Miles demands to know where they went and calls Hurley “Tubby”. Before Hurley even responds the first thing that came to my mind was that was definetly a Sawyer comment. Hurley then says “Great, the sent us another Sawyer”. Definetly a great one liner. Hurley then asks if the people on the boat are really there to kill them all like Locke says. Miles responds with an spooky “Not Yet”.

LOST is the best serie ever!!!!!!!!!!
At first, I was puzzled by the polar bear in the desert archeological dig with the Dahrma colar. after some reflection, it’s like Desmond when he traveled back in time, to be with Penny again. He actually traveled in time, accidentally I think. Somehow (this a theory of mine) The Dahrma folks experimented with time travel and sent the polar bear back in time…Charlotte seemed pleased and actually seemed to be looking for the Dahrma colar in her flashback sequence. I believe she is Ben’s friend from when he was a kid on the island (she made little dolls of she and him) He shot her knowing she was wearing a bullet-proof vest.
Here’s my major theory…..
The island is a conduit to parallel universes. Where the universes all intersect. Flight 815 from one parallel universe did indeed crash in the ocean and they all died. But since it broke up over the island, somehow that plane’s survivors were thrust into our universe. On the island that’s fine, but when Jack, Kate, Hugo (and three others) leave, they don’t fit in anymore because in our universe..they are really dead….cool…huh
Also in a chilling off-shoot of this theory, when helicopter pilot Frank has his flashback…he sees Flight 815 on the ocean floor and insists the pilot named as the pilot seen in the underwater video is not the person who piloted the flight that day, because he never took off his wedding band. BUT… I bet the Flight 815 pilot who was eaten by the dinosuar creature in season one DID have a wedding ring. Here’s the freaky part…Frank was looking at an decomposing alternate universe version of HIMSELF!!!

Some food for thought… If anybody has any idea about the following, very much appreciated…
1) Why should an airplane from Sydney to LA fly east? (as its route appeared on the news on TV)
2) In the photo that Miles takes out from his pocket, Ben appears to be at an airport assumably checking-in. Correct me if I’m wrong but as far as I know, Ben never left the island.
3) Charlotte was so pleased when she saw the Dharma collar and by digging in the right spot. Is it because she had spotted the same thing several times before in other excavations?
4) Why did the 815 crash triggered the black guy to start the operation and not before if they want Ben as their primary objective?

It’s the much shorter direction. I really don’t think anyone flies west from Australia to get to the west coast of the U.S.
2) Correct me if I’m wrong but as far as I know, Ben never left the island.
I think like any of the others, having a submarine, Ben probably left the island many times.

I think it’s because she is/was a Dharma Initiative person. If Dharma was experimenting with time travel. Perhaps they used one of the polar bears, to send back in time. She obviously was looking for the collar.

I speculate that the black guy works for Hanso Corp.(Penny’s dad) who probably ran the Dharma Initiative. They probably know Ben killed all the Dharma people. Maybe they’ve always been looking for him.
sorry… I mixed west-east. The route on TV is westward. So isn’t it awkward that an airplane flies west to reach LA departing from Sydney? Thanks for the others by the way.
Can anyone tell me their thoughts on Sayid working for Ben. Im just so confused! Im thinking Sayid is killing off the people that were trying to kill Ben on the island (and obviously failed). Sayid must have over took them on the ship and joined forces with Bens spy.
I like the theory that they people that want to kill Ben work for Pennys father (hence the picture). He was probably trying to find Desmond as well (to mend his daughters broken heart, perhaps). If Pennys father owned the dharma initiative, he must have been pissed when Ben killed everyone!
And what ever happened to the little girl Ben liked. I like the theory that she is Charlette…that explains her reaction to the collar..
Argh! I can do this once a week thing. I usually watch the season after it comes out on DVD.

WOW, I luv it, too many clues get me a little confused though, but i hav been doing alot of digging.
I believe the 4 new people r on the island to get ben for destroying the darhma original plans and people. But the 4 newies r also there for a different reason, i think, why else bring bio gear, i dont think they know as much as they would like to bout the island, but they know enough.
When miles was prayn over namois body to ask her how she died he was repeating you goto to see it through backwards and he got the answers he needed.
Daniel faraday (the geeky 1) is far more interesting though remember his comment, “The light here doesnt quite scatter right”. Well michael farday (same last name) is the inventer of electromagnetic induction in 1831. He hypothesized that a changing magnetic field is necessary to induce a current in a nerby circut. Faraday comfirmed that a moving magnetic field is necessary in order for electromagnetic induction to occur. An induced magnetic field can influence the direction of a compass needle, when a magnetic field is created it counteracts the effects of the earths magnetic field. He established that magnetism could also affect rays of light! Cool hey! Little hard to understand but cool.
Obiviously the flight under the ocean was a hox to assure the families of those who were on the plane that the bodies were found, yet cant be retrieved! Pilot had no ring yet he was wearing it wen he got attected n died on the island.
I also took a look at a new hatch, the orchid, it’s a little freaky when u c the flashes u have to take a really good look. Flash 1 is some people that look like sicenctists. 2nd flash is of a building, 3rd flash says “god loves you as he loved jacob” n the last is of a person riding a pushbike (unsidedown) what’s with all the backwards n unsidedown stuff? It’s a little weird. Also the city is upsidedown opposite the LOST title at the beginning of each episode.
I believe there is a loop hole somewhere in the ocean that allows time travel n demond accidently went through it when he got knocked out. Only an exclusive group of people know it exsists. All the pregnancy stuff aswell, thats why u cant fall pregnat, it wasnt meant to be in that time n space. Where if u fell pregant b4 the island it was meant to be n ur not effected.
I really dont know but hey it’s worth a guess. What do u think?
Penny’s father owns the Widmore corporation who are in close business with the Hanso foundation who financed the Dharma initiative. Sun’s father Mr. Paik owns Paik heavy industries who are also in business with Hanso and who designed a special ‘quarantine’ boat for Hanso. Hanso foundation were looking to test a virus with a predicted 30% mortality rate and apparently decided to use an island site they hadn’t used for some time. Does anybody have any clues on this? Maybe the newcomers have arrived on the hospital boat to test the virus on the island? Hence Miles’ ‘not yet’ answer to the killing question?…

I JUST DID A SEACH ON GOOGLE FOR LOST SEASON 4 N IT POPED UP AS 1 OF THE SITES U CAN GO TO. IT LOOKS LIKE A NORMAL VIDEO U HAV TO LOOK CLOSELY N STOP IT IN THE RIGHT SPOT, IT’S A LITTLE TRICKY.

NOT TOO SURE WAT WAS WITH THE RABBITS N WHY THEY COULDNT BE NEAR EACH OTHER, BUT I FOUND THE FLASHS REALLY INTERESTING TOO. THINK IM A LITTLE TOO ADDICTED! IM IN AUSTRALIA/ADELAIDE SO I HAV TO STOP MYSELF LOOKING AT THE LOST EP COMING UP.
THE CLUES THIS SEASON R REALLY FOCUSED ON THE WHOLE MAGNETISM STUFF N THE WAY IT CAN CHANGE LIGHT N POSSIBLY CREATE AN AREA WHERE TIME CAN MOVE AT A DIFFERENT SPEED. SO I GUESS THE BUTTON WAS REALLY IMPORTANT, THERE TO MAYBE BALANCE EVERYTHING OUT BUT WAS DESTROYED THERE4 IMPACTING ON THE ISLAND IN A HUGE WAY.
