Lost Season 4 Spoilers

If your the type of person who loves knowing what’s going to happen on Lost before everyone else then I’m sure you’ve checked out sites like DarkUFOs. But a recent interview with the Lost producers revealed they were none to pleased with these types of sites, and were actually pretty upset that the season 3 finale “flash-forward” scene was revealed weeks in advance.

Damon Lindeloff and Carlton Cuse have recently stated that they are going on radio silence during the next season and will not be revealing any amount of information what so ever. Lindeloff stated, “…no one skips to the end of Life. You have to live it, and it’s just disappointing to me that people don’t respect the integrity of the show enough to let it unfold naturally.”

I couldn’t agree more. I for one hate knowing any amount of information about the episode prior to watching it. It takes away from the excitement of not knowing what’s going to happen. I had the same opinion about the actual flash-forward scene. If this is truly the future I don’t like the fact that I know Jack and Kate some how get off the island. There have been many theories that this isn’t really the future and blah blah the future can be changed but still I didn’t want to know or have any idea that they possibly get off the island until it actually happens.

The radio silence from the producers isn’t the only aftermath of rampant spoilers across the Internet. Disney is out for vengeance. Disney is currently compiling a list of names of whose hands the finale passed prior to being aired. What exactly they are planning to do with these names is uncertain. But if your a cast member and you let something slip you get killed off the show.

Disney may even take it as far as going after sites that release this spoiler information and either fine them or attempt to take the site down (or at least the information) completely. Needles to say season 4 is expected to be another great season of Lost, but it remains to be seen whether or not you will have the pleasure of abundant spoilers that you have enjoyed through season 3.

Do you think ABC and Disney will begin shutting down/fining sites for making the spoiler information public? Do you think it’s our rate to use the knowledge as we see fit or is it a direct violation of copyright?

You should REALLY get acquainted with “spellcheck” on your machine. It would make your writing appear a little less like junior high email and more like that of an educated proser.

2

Thanks for your literary concern.

3

in Jan ?! .. this is a very long time break damn it !

no I like that fact they give us an idea what’s going 2 happing in season 4

oh god =( it’s a very long to wait .. so sad

4

[...] after the producers are going into complete radio silence and not spilling any details about the upcoming Season 4 of Lost, Lindeloff goes and drops a little [...]

5

jack and kate die as lock kills them

6

“…more like that of an educated proser.”
…what’s a proser?

7

A “proser” is someone who writes in prose, which is a form of writing like someone would classify poetry as a form. It’s like how we talk in everyday life, basically.

The better qwestshun is why David felt like wasting his time kruhteeking sum-one hoo deosn’t kair.

David is obviously too intellectual to be wasting this time. He should be out doing something like saving the world… or being an average, grumpy, 30-something, over-analytical shell of a junior high english teacher. Or something like that.

As for Scott’s piece on the spoilers… I don’t see how anybody can want to know what happens in a Lost episode before it happens? I mean, maybe I’m in the minority, but I’d think it really weird of someone to walk around the office on Thursday morning prying for what happened not having seen the previous episode.

This show is too good to have it’s plot conveyed by word of mouth. Analyzing it and relating it back to determinist philosophers (for Desmond), Aristotle (Sawyer and the idea that doing just acts create a habit and you can therefore change yourself to be better or worse than the person you were before, etc.

8

(cont.) … Analyzing it [...] is where the real satisfaction, at least for me, comes from.

9

This is pretty funny if you truly are David Holsinger as it says when you click on you name. I just finished being unsatisfied with parts of Fort Canterburry March, although on the whole it truly is a good piece, and then I go on to bash you in an online Lost blog.
What’re the chances of that? Not very good, but after watching Lost, maybe it was meant to be?

10

Right on Robbie. Down with spoilers! I don’t want to know whats going to happen I want to try and figure it out as the show is going on.

11

The last time I checked neither ABC or Disney have had any kind of super-judicial power conferred on them; they can’t just go about fining websites at their leisure. I think they would have a pretty difficult time suing them for anything in any event; copyright generally only relates to the form that a product of your artistic labour eventually takes — merely explaining what happens in a t.v. show probably wouldn’t come within the conventional definition of copyright.

12

dISNEY GOING AFTER SPOILER SITES…..oops caps lock sorry!
Fox did that to various Buffy fan sites it was known as being ‘Foxed’ and we lived in fear of ‘the letter’ lol
It never stopped the spoilers though, they are great if you want to find out but you can always avoid them!

13

i don’t wanna know what’s gonna happen. but 222 days is a long time
:( damn.

14

I don’t actually rhink that the last scene is a flash-forward. You see, Jack says to Dr Leo to call his father and if his father is more drunk than he is, then he could fire him. This cannot happen because Jack’s father is,undoubtedly, dead!!

15

to david,
if there was a “spellcheck” on this site it would make bearded oboe wielding numpties like yourself obsolete…

16

to Peter:
It has to be a flash forwards otherwise Jack wouldn’t say he wants to go back to the island. The part where he refures to his father confuses me aswell but if you rember Jack’s father was walking around the island alive so i think he is alive and is also rescued since the island definatly has the power to bring back the dead.

17

what if the flash-forward was not ment for season 4.. whay if it was ment for way later in the show like the last season or some…

regarding jack’s father I wouls agree with Moo.. that island is pretty F***’ed up..

18

I’ve just finished watching Season 3 and maybe I was just tired (watched in two goes) but I don’t remember Jack’s father walking round on the island. When was that?

19

Jacks dad was seen on the island in season 1 by Jack.

20

i think that the spoilers are a great idea because its true its a very long time, and besides we have i choice, the person that doesnt want to know has a very simple choice….dont look…but for those that dont want to be kept in the dark, please let us beeeeee

21

that’s crazy. u expect ppl to just wait till next year to know what happens next? that’s just plain crazy shiit that only crazy shiity ppl ask normal ppl to do cuz they want more crazy shiity ppl like ben. i say those spoiler nay sayers go suck a diick cuz we want spoiler!!!

22

I am so confused about Peter’s and other people’s comments about Jack’s father (Christian) being seen in the final ep. of S. 3! Jack’s father died, so how is he back to life in the future?? The island couldn’t have resurrected him, could it? Please post more theories!!

23

I have just finished watching season 3 and must be destined to write this comment seeing as i am entry 23…I believe the scene Peter and Moo were confused over meant..his father IS dead and the other doctor pitied Jack for raising the drunk remark and having to watch him following in his fathers footsteps. As for spoilers.. I believe that mankind has revealed many secrets of our past, present and future already. Before we know it, there will be no mystery unsolved, no secrets kept and more importantly..no interaction with experience and emotion. I have a theory but i can’t tell you in case i am right.

24

Can I ask you something..did you all notice in the episode about Benjamin , that when they show little Ben meeting with that guy in the woods , they later show the old Ben and that guy look the same and even younger actually , so could it there be renewing power of the island , connects pasts of different people to change their destiny (stories of Locke and Sawyer , Sawyer and Kate , and etc) are already connected…probably that’s why they’re on the island..

25

Nice blog but aside from using spell check, make sure correctly spelled words are really the ones you want to use. I skimmed what you wrote, just briefly, and found at least two wrong words (your for you’re and rate for rite). It will just help your credibility as a writer.

26

god, that lasat episode is really confusing.
but when jack saw his dad on the island in season one, he wasn’t really there. jack was just seeing things. omg! i litterally CANNOT wait until season four.

27

How the hell can Disney fine someone for posting details, they don’t own the internet, they don’t own the sites and it isn’t illegal (however immoral you might think it is), all they can really do is bitch and moan which will make them look bad in public.

28

are there going to be reruns of season 3 until season 4 begins? if so, when?

29

im not as think as u dum i am!!!

30

i can’t wait anymore i have too see it

31

I think Disney are a bunch of whining babies, for fuck sake. If people want to find out what happens before it happens then thats there choice, personally i’d rather wait, it’s more exciting that way, what harm does it do to anyone if a little information leaks, who really cares. Killing people off the show because they leaked information is completely over the top, just leave people to there own devices and the rest of you shut the fuck up and just watch the show aaaaaagggggghhhhhhhh you people make me laugh

32

OMG!! lost is sooooo good, n i can’t w8 until season 4 and oh yeah if anyone of you obsolete americans bothered to watch two of the makers of lost had an online interview with Skynews in england and admitted that when jack said “get my dad down here and if he’s less drunk than me” yarder yarder that he was just saying that because he was drunk so whether that was a flah forward or flash back christian sheppard AKA jacks dad was dead cya.

33

They can silence themselves all they want. Until they go after the National Enquirer though, they’d better not be sending any letters to my site.
Every forum I have visited has protected the spoilers form the people who prefer not to know. They even have special tags, so they can’t accidentally view them. I like spoilers and without them, how would we manage these HUGE hiati? Spoilers initiate speculation.
The trouble they face is there is an international viewership. Where I am, I can’t get the Verizon mobisodes even if I wanted to pay for them. So what am I to do? Just miss out on them? NOT. I will continue to post these things on my forum just so others lie me CAN SEE!
[sp] ABC, send all the mail you want![/sp] If that was in a forum, you wouldn’t see it.

34

I won’t watch the show annymore if they live in the city. It’s bad enough that some of the mysteries have vanished from the woods.

35

Hey every1 plz answer my questions I’m so confused I saw season3 the last episod I agree frm Adam frm England Jack was drunk when he said to the Dr. bring my dad down here and the Dr. looked confused..but at the last of the episode when he gave Kate tht piece of paper frm the newspaper in the plane and asked her if she’s going 2 the funeral..THEN WHO DIED? :S and is season4 out yet?????

36

The show is too damn GOOD I never get bored of it..it ROXX!!!<3

37

i dont want to know what happens, but the reason?that we dont know whats going to happen in life,we just have to live it and find out?what a lame reason…life doesnt drag-on and make us wait 7 or 8 months in between..damon, i thought more of you

38

moo and peter….your both right and it drives me crazy…i think they just did it to steer us away from thinking it was in the future..lots of things dont add up and i bet they never will..its a great show but i think theyre making it up as they go.

39

Actually when it says that he heard theories that when jack and kate are off of the island and might be the past, it might not be true because if you watch the last episode on lost season 3, on all of those flashbacks Jack has a crazor cell phone which is a brand new phone in that period of time in lost.

40

Which means it would be after the crash.

41

wankers your all wankers

42

Jack and Kate dies from lock in season 4 guys

43

OMG! IN SEASON 5 THEY KILL OFF LOCKE!!

44

That scene at the end of season 4 is from the past. Jack and kate knew they where brother and sister before they got on the plane. Jack helped kate to kill her stepfather and thats the funeral he went to. They have been trying to make people think that they loved each other but really jack was just looking after his sister. When he says we have to go back he means they need to turn themselves in as he feels guilty for what they have done (this is all just a guess by the way but it makes sense to me) slam dunk

45

I’m not for spoilers, but I think the fast forwards are a really interesting idea that adds another unique layer to the show. `

46

Firstly I think a lot of you should not only use spellcheck, but should actually use correct grammar, plus the correct words! And for the poster who criticised (yes, with an ’s’ as I am English) the writer for using ‘rate’ instead of ‘rite’, I am assuming she actually meant ‘right’…It does sadden me somewhat to see how the English language is being abused….
However, on to my point, and to the poster above, it makes no sense to me what you say about Jack and Kate being brother and sister. If you watch the correct episode you will see that it is Claire who is Jack’s half sister – not Kate. Claire finds out who her father is when she is at the hospital to see her mother, after the car crash. Neither Claire or Jack are aware they have the same father (at least at the end of season 3 they aren’t), and Claire never even found out what his name was so would not know it was Jack’s father anyway. If you recall, before she walked away from him, Claire told him that she didn’t even know his name, and that she didn’t want to….she then walked away. So the comments about Jack and Kate being brother and sister and knowing each other before the crash (with those scenes being flashbacks instead of flashforwards) just makes no sense – it is clear they were flashforwards, and they certainly are not related and did not know one another before the island. Even the producers/writer have said those scenes were flashforwards, so why the confusion?
For my own opinion, I wonder if it is Locke in the coffin…neither of them liked him as time went by, so why would they attend the funeral, yet the island clearly had something instore for Locke, which we are yet to find out. But then again it could be anyone – I’m sure it is someone who is key in either keeping people alive on the island, or had promised them a way out, in which case if he (or she) dies then the rest will be trapped on the island? It’s just one thought really…whoever it is they weren’t close to on the island and want to try to forget, but they have to be someone who is somehow connected to keeping the rest on the island, or responsible for getting them off…maybe! But maybe that is the reason for Jack wanting to go back, because he is always the ‘hero’, rescuing people, so feels that is his role, and to help him with the guilt he has felt since he returned.
But who knows!? We will no doubt find out at the end of season 6!
