The Penelope and Naomi Connection….
One thing I forgot to mention in my season 3 finale post was the connection or lack of connection between Penelope (Desmonds’ Girl), Naomi, the parachute girl and the boat (if there is one).
When Charlie was talking to Penny, she said “what boat?” meaning she was not connected to Naomi’s boat like Naomi has told our losties. This raises so many questions I’m not even sure where to start, but I’ll try:
1. If Penelope doesn’t know about the boat, whose boat is it?
2. Is there really a boat? Or is Naomi lying?
3. If Penny doesn’t know Naomi, how and why does Naomi have a picture of Desmond and Penny with her?
I really am not sure what to think of the connection, but I’d love to hear what you all think about the Penny / Naomi / Boat connection in the comments below

I could be wrong, but I seem to remember Penelope’s father having a Dharma thing somewhere in his office. Could it be he’s a head of the Dharma institute and has also been looking for the island, but headed Penelope’s efforts off when she got that signal from the Antartic team?
I also think that Penny is part of the new Dharma and have been looking for the island this entire time, why else would she ask how he got the frequency. I think the people on the boat are other “others” that are looking to get rid of Ben.

i also think that the flash foreward can NOT be the future. on the island jacks 3 day beard starts getting gray. in the “so called future” his full beard is quite black. tiny detail but i guess the writers are aware of stuff like that.

Naomi is a pirate (of the modern age) or perhaps a treasure hunter. This would explain the following:
1. Why she had Desmond’s and Penny’s photo: Naomi and her crew came upon Desmond’s boat and ran-sacked it. Naomi read Desmond’s journal. Upon being found by Desmond, it was blind luck that it was Desmond in the rescue party and she recognized him from the photo.
Two: Why there is a boat off shore: the pirates (treasure hunters) are looking for something (treasure in the Black Rock?)
Could it be possible that Penny’s father had sent the Naomi and her people, specifically looking for Desmond, possibly to take him out. This isn’t a blind shot in the dark, especially if you remember how much he was against their union in season 2.
I also think Brett M raises more questions about the Naomi/Desmond connection. If we exclude time travel from the equation, in the past, the writers have usually given solid reasons for peoples connections outside the island. Any thoughts?
I think Penny’s father should be examined more closely.
I feel sorry that Naomi got killed by Lock stabbing her in the back. That was totally unnecessary. One minute the idiot can’t kill his father- the next he’s knifing a pretty young girl in the back – who could very well be innocent.
It seems that Naomi is one of the scouts of the Dharma Initiative. They are trying to find the island again after the destruction of Swan Station. I don’t know if there is a cable is the gateway the submarine had been using, but if not, the island is potentially a Bermuda Triangle of the Pacific — unfindable.
Naomi is Desmonds second cousin. They met long before in a coffee shop withought knowing they are related.
why is the boat not pennies. and why is there a mess up
I highly doubt that Naomi has any connection to Charles Widmore or was sent by him. Consider this: Charles wants Desmond as far away from Penny as possible. What would be his motivation for sending a search party for Desmond? Is Naomi there just to check and make sure Desmond is really stuck on an island? Doubtful.
I think Ben is not lying this time. He knows that something terrible is coming from the other end of the phone call Jack made. Hence the reason Jack is so distraught at “rescuing” everyone in the season finale’s flash foreward/back. (Which on a side note, I dont think it is a flash foreward or a flash back, but more likely a possibility of the future, much like Desmond see future possibilities. It can be altered.)
Locke also knows it is a bad idea and Jack isn’t “supposed to do that.” Everyone knows he is in some kind of communion with the island. Smoky appears as Walt to Locke and tells him he has work to do. I’m guessing it has to do with him killing Naomi in an attempt to stop whatever is on the other end of that phone.
And on one last side note, isn’t it a little odd that Naomi stopped Jack and told him how to use the phone in case something happens to her? Did she know what was going to happen to her??

in season 1 Locke tells to Walt: Hey Walt do you want to know a secret?”
I have wached all tehe episodes and I still don know what that secret is.
No one seems to have asked how did Naomi have a copy of the photo of Penny & Desmond if Des has the original with him, as far as I remember it was taken with an instance camera.
Ok here it is-Naomi is the second cousin of Jacob, and locke is the first brother of Jack and Kate is the long lost sister of sawyer (incest) and after you know all of this it all makes sense.
