Is Jacob Locke Or Not

So, with this past episode of Lost, we were introduced to the mysterious Jacob. He turned out to be even more mysterious as he is invisible. Looking at the image below, I think it is Locke with either a hood or long hair. I dont think the creators are going to go down the path of introducing invisible telekinetic beings. I think the reason that Locke couldnt see him is its because its himself. Ben makes the comment of “Jacob feels like you do about technology, John”. Thats my only explanation of this nonsensical scene.

What do you think? Is it Locke, Jack’s dad, Jesus?

no its not locke. the only character that resembles jacob is the man sawyer called horse and he was shot by juliet on the beach.

2

Actually Jacob resembles ‘Christian’, Jack’s dad.

3

he’s a sleestack you dumbshits! A SLEESTACK!!!!!

4

To be honest, I think all the above is incorrect. I recently wento onto the Hanso website and noticed that he looks like Alvar Hanso. I know Hanso’s hair is not as wavey, but the shortness of it wouldn’t allow waves to form… So this could be a decent match… For a picture, check out my website link or the one below:

I think it’s Jack, who’s been trying to come back to the island as we see in the last episode of Season 3, to fix all his mistakes. He then uses Ben to stop himself and the other survivors of taking the same decisions again. Trying to fix the past… Jack is Jacob!

6

people think am crazy but i think he a shape shifter he could be the walt who ever1 sees or the monster jacks dad who knows.

7

I think Thomas is right, or near enough. Walt might of come back to the island too help fix things or yeah shapeshifting being. the link with locke does seem liable as he might of become ‘one’ with the island. and control that big wisp thing.
My personal instinct is telling me that there is more to the fact the island is a coverup xfiles style setup. the season 3 finale showed Jack wanted to stop lieing and he attented the funeral of a survivor. His reaction to this suggested that they died under suspicious circumstances as they might of been uncovering the truth…
I dunno but the only thing that is bugging me is that who was it suppose to be inside the coffin? ;p

8

why did you bring jacub in the show. i also do think loche is jacub because he for some reason loche already knew about jacub.

9

I think Katrina is right, in the last episode is Jacob, Walt and jack’s dad in the body of John locke.

10

i think tht jackob is that black smoke who killd eko.because he can be whatever he wants

11

im not sure who jacob is but Rose does go to see a ‘jacob’ in australia to heal her of the cancer it could be a conincidence but that doesnt seem likely with lost!

12

whatever plzz plzzz start season 4 quick this flash foward thing is killing me every day sawyer is da besttttttttttttttttttttttttttttt

13

ok heres my theroy ben took loche to see jacob were there was no electricity but when loche turned on the flash light there was a serge and supposably jacob was doing it so what if ben was keeping jacob(what ever he is supposed to be)held prisnor or trapped in that house and the flash light was enough to give him a serge of energy to move stuff around like he did. i really wish the show would stop leaving more questions and answer some of them :P cant wait for season 4!!

14

The survivor in that coffin is Locke becouse Jack said he wasn’t friend or family and the guy said no one else showd up, this is becouse Locke didn’t really had someone else besides his father who was a con man and murdered on the island. Also Jack cried at the coffin becouse Locke knew Jack made a mistake calling that ship, and now Jack is trying to get back to the island to make up for his mistake. If someone agrees post a comment ;)

Starting to watch “lost” was one of the best thing that happened with me. Really. The show is amazing and allows everybody come up with a thousands of theories. Ok. About the island, in general, I’m guess it is a different dimension in space and time. To reach there is necessary some very special device that permits to travel among the dimensions. Considering it is right, I agree with those who thinks that Jacob is Jack, once Jack is trying to return into the past and make the things right. Let’s wait for the fourth season.

16

I think Jacob is the white rabbit that Locke mentioned when Jack saw his father. I think he’s the magic of the island as well. If it were Jack, I think Ben would have mentioned the uncanny resemblance. ^_^ I miss Shannon. She and Sayid rocked. I’ve been to the bear exhibit, by the way. I used to live on Oahu, and I went to the old zoo. It’s pretty neat.

17

Well all I can say that I have found out is that in the episode finale a doctor asks jack (in the supposed future) how much he has had to drink. and Then Jack said “why dont you go ask my father how much he has had and you can fire me if I am drunker than he is” so jacks dad is still alive!

18

Like wow. I’ve started watching lost since the last 3 eqisodes and ever birthday since then i have either got lost season 1 part 1 ect ect now i have all of um and i can;t wait to get season but itd only 16 epiodes long all together abit gay ehy?

19

Arghhh a few spelling mistakes there.. >.<
I watched it since the last 3 epiodes from lost season 1..
and i can;t wait to get lost season 4 :)

20

Well, I think Jacob is Ben’s dad, whom he killed and is now Ben’s prisoner, or why else would he had whispered “Help Me” to Locke? I also think the Island is not a real island, but rather a constructed one for research purposes. And finally, I believe season 4 will now be based on the the “flash-forwards” of each of the suvivor after they’ve been rescued and for some reason they might want to go back to the island.

21

i think jacob is the island coz i think the island deciedes weather people go to heaven and hell but every1 is dead. so is jacob like god or someit and every1 who dies turns into jacob 4 a while. you all proberly think i’m somesort of an idot. does any1 agree with me about the island is jacob or do you all think i’m wrong. i’ll c u l8r then love ya jade xx ( sawyer is so cute ) xx

22

i recon jacob is the black smoke monster as in an interview the dude hu plays ben says that he is not a real person or something and the black smoke shapeshifts like when he was protending to be ekos brother when eko died and i think the smoke is like death as he is seen near dead bodies.

23

annother point about the smoke being death is in the pilot when the man is sucked into the propellar and it blows up the smoke is there if you look carfully

24

Mkhail “You said the Looking Glass was destroyed.”

Ben- ” Well, I lied. Now swin down ther, you one eyed Soviet Monkey.”

25

that picture’s freaking me out
now im gettin the chills
and those comments are confusing me….
who the heck is jacob?!

26

dude that black smoke at the plane is so true that is sick, what would it mean?

27

GB YOU WERE RIGHT! Absolutely spot on about Locke being in the coffin etc. Well done to you.

28

im jacob!! nah i rekon its kates mums dad! cus she is a hermaphrodyte, so it all it makes sense

29

I think Jacob is just a human representation of the island, and is nowhere near human. I actually believe Mikhail mightf be in his Cabin as well because when Hurley looked into the peep hole of the cabin, the eye he saw was extremely scarred. I also think that Matthew Abbaddon might have something to do with Jacob

30

I am actually surprised that Richard has not seen Jacob as he seems to be more in tune with the island than anyone else, even Ben and Locke

31

I think Jacob is dead so Miles is there to communicate with him. Jacob is like a spirit, some kind of “materia” that could be everywhere and anytime.

32

Hey Mike !! It’s true that’s there actually 2 “Time Gates” or smth one in Antartida and the other in the island??
Cus if so, that flashforwards could not be conclusive, I mean they colud have the opportunity to change them as Desmond did with his fate.

33

mmm maybe even 3, remember where Desmond turned up once? in the middle of the dessert !

34

sorry not Desmond – I meant Ben

35

that time when Hugo looks into the cabin and sees the man in the rocking chair…that is Jack’s Dad…im convinced…
jacob is the guy who peeps up at the window of the cabin and freaks out Hugo im pretty sure…
i believe Richard is Jacob…i dont think Locke is Jacob, thats kinda ubsurd…Richard being Jacob is just an idea, no reason, other than Richard never ages through the whole thing…and he also seems very mysterious to me…

36

locke is jacob.due to time travel they end up in the cabin together. locke has been appointed the leader of the others at some point in the past/future and takes on the name of jacob. when locke enters the cabin everything starts to move, shake etc because of the effect of the same atoms and molecules being brought so close together.this is a very dangerouse situation. if jacob and locke were to touch it would cause the very fabric of time and space to rip apart.

37

desmond could also be the eye that looks out of the cabin, i think they are both in the cabin as it is the safest place for them to be with all the time jumping going on
