the theory is a big bogus! instead, it’s a purgotory wherein people in flight oceanic all died and is going around in limbo. notice the way they perform flashbacks… it’s actually a parrallel lives that gives them the chance to correct the wrongs they did. in the end, they realize they’re way too trap in the island… but because of their accomplishments in their parrallel lives… everything turns white (heaven)

I think the idea of it being about a portal to a parallel world securely places this whole concept in the whelm of science fiction. Ok, so its not a true story but the nature of Lost’s story line seems to be more constantly reflecting our ‘real’ world. Coincidences, connections between people. I just think placing the concept under science fiction takes the wind out of it.

I forgot to add that the key desmond turned might have been the key that shut down (Temporarily) the artificial magnetic biosphere. hence, when he turned the key there was all that chaos. i assume that the others then restored the sphere shortly thereafter once they realized what had happened.

what if the source of major magenetic power is a meteorite that crashed on the island and is embedded in the core? that scientists found it (later to become the dharma initiative) and sought to study it undisturbed from govt eyes and shielded the island with some type of magentic biosphere. hence you must reach the island from a sub and the island interferes with all radiowaves etc? further, objects such as planes and helicopters are attracted magnetically to the island if they get to close and crash? magnetics also explains the quick tissue healing of injured people like Locke and may explain why babies can’t be healthily conceived on the island b/c the magnetic radiation intereferes with the fragile fetal dvpt in its initial stages. (also explains why babies conceived off the island are ok since they’ve bypassed that critical neural dvpt phase and are strong enough to withstand the mild radiation of the island). just a thought….!

I have an old theory which I sent to Jay and Jack which is on the same wavelength, and to understand “trees” you can easily say its other dimensions of consciousness and also realities of those. “Instead of the island being just a black rock, why not make it an electromagnetic anomaly that serves as a gateway to an alternate reality”

If one study the Lost story from occult perspectives, one notice that the team behind adopted a lot. The Becker-Hagen map which points out earths electromagnetic grids, there’s much to say and remember nothing is separated. Bermuda is one grid and portal known for it’s oddness mythology tells about these are gates or portals.

Dharma in fiction and someone reality found a way to move to the fourth dimension and many unaware.
