He gives another live to the movie, more suspense and also he is a beatiffull actor. He is good and he need to know that he have a sister......, and he is the only one that create respec and the only one can help everyone to leave the island. I'm sure the rest of the cast, Sayid, Locke, Hugo, Charlie ect, would like a little camera time. I think that Jack will be held with the 'Others' for 4-5 episodes, with little or no camera time. In the meantime that will allow more discovery on the island about the other hatches on the blast door. I don't think they'd kill Jack off. Unless he requests to be killed off like Eko did. Speaking of Eko, remember when Locke explains to Eko what he saw on the island? Something like, "bright & beautiful", Eko replies, "That is not what I saw."
