The Mystery Behind Jae’s Death

With Jin and Sun and Sun’s faithlessness the focus of an episode a few weeks backs, a Question has been forgotten: How did Jae, wind up falling to his death from his apartment (which, in the series’ odd numerology, was No. 1516, even though it was only on the second floor)?

“Did he jump out of shame and despair, having lost Sun’s love?

“Was he pushed by some of Sun’s father’s goons, who had followed Jin to finish the job?

“Or was Sun involved in his death, which might explain the strand of pearls he grasped as he fell?

And what exactly did Juliet mean about Sayid, Jin and Sun “sail(ing) around in circles” in Desmond’s boat? Was Ben lying when he said The Others can get off the island? Are they all trapped in an electromagnetic anomaly?
