There are 2 more episodes this year but it is not the end of Lost Season 3. Despite many rumors that Lost Season 4 starts this Feb 7th it is only a continuation of Season 3.
Lost Season 4 doesn’t actually start until Sept 26th of 2007.

This is lost were talking about. They never actually got rescued. All we heard was a voice (no idea who) on the other end of a phone, saying..yes we have you location. No mention of them getting off the island

I have a sneaky feeling the funeral might have been Sawyer’s. It was supposed to be a poor neighbourhood, not just a ‘black’ one. Neither Michael nor Rose were necessarily liable to be in such a spot, especially not in LA…but it’s just the sorta place I’d expect to find Sawyer at his end!
This ‘flash-forward’ is just another mindscrew courtesy of the diabolic storytellers at ‘Lost’…and I’ll be chomping at the bit ’til February! (The final eps to Season 3 just showed tonight here in Sweden.)

I’m brazilian…The 4 season of lost ,don’t have in my country…Why?
the producer said its a purgatory? so, its possible that in the series ender theres really no survived on that plane crash.
and by the way, ive heard that theres only 3 seasons and 48 episodes left, it means theres only 16 episodes per season before the series finale.
The producers have said multiple times that it is NOT PURGATORY. They are all alive, all on the island and its all really happening, aka its not all in Hurleys head in the mental institute.

Loch and Ben advise Jack not to be rescued at the end as things would get worse for him and it would be a big mistake to go home..Do you think some kind of spirit/power (help me to fill in the gaps any comments?)convinced Jack to stay on the Island -Jack was having some kind of deja vu-mindtricks on how his life would be in the future if he left the Island - he would be a drunk- Kate would’nt be interested in him etc. I personally think Jack is seeing what Loch has been seeing all along…their futures this is why Loch is so adamant to stay on the Island.
i think that when episode 4 starts it will go back to the Island and they will all be standing there by the radio tower…they will not be rescued.Jack will come out of some sub-concious state where he has just seen the future which is bleak or Ben and Loch will be with him in the presence of Jacob who has somehow made Jack see the future…convincing him too stay
I’ve just finished Season 3. It’s not the Director’s style to make imagination comes real in front of the scene for Jack. He’s always rational and determined. Jack is so desparate to leave the island he wouldn’t give up the satellite phone.

i think that the funeral was for sawyer…. coz jack went to see kate & handed her to see the torn piece from a newspaper… then kate commented that she has nothing to do with attending the funeral…

Jack is my favourite character, and i think he is among the very few who truly have character. Much as i feel sad for him that his heart was broken by kate, i sure hope he really gets over her, and moves on, which of course might not be the case here. And Sawyer? Just to clear everything up, but after the season 3 finale it was anounced on the news that the creators of the show have disscussed with ABC how long LOST should be on for, knowing that LOST is not a show that can go on forever. And decided thaat they are gonna make 2 more seasons, a total of 48 more episodes, so now the writers have the luxury of mapping out the rest of the story and make sure everything is done right and all the issues be addressed. Lost however will not start till early 2008 but the creators promise it will be well worth the wait. Lost will then continue to air it’s 2 final seasons, coming to an end in 2010. Other cast members were there to comment about this recent news. Jack said he thinks that this is going to be great for the show. And I agree. Now we know that when season 4 starts, every episode is gonna count. No more pointless storylines, and hopefully all episodes contribute to a well deserved ending for lost.
Can they please hurry up and put Lost Season 3 on DVD. I don’t even watch tv that much anymore because Lost is my favorite and I watched everyone faithfully. I can’t wait for Season 4, 5, 6, and 7…….

i am pretty sure season 4 will start with all of them (charlie included) in the island as if the last two episodes of season 3 had not happened…I think Lost deals with possibilities, that is a plane crashes and there are two (amongs many others) possibilities:
1- no survivors
2- some survivors
in Lost all possible possibilities seem to take place, that is why Desmond sees Charlie´s many deaths, because he sees all the possibilities…And about who is in the coffin, we may not know about that since all this thing of Jack being drunk and phoning Kate and all that is just what may have happened were the people they contact at the end of season 3 who jack and the rest think they were…well this is my guess, if i am right i may be opening a psychic phone line or something

Few questions here w/ the inconsistencies of story lines on S3.
1. Ben asked Locke to kill his biological father Anthony Cooper as a ‘gesture’ to show the OTHERS in order to become one of them. Locke pointed a dagger on his dad’s neck but was unable to kill him because as he had said ‘he is not a murderer’. Instead, Locke fetched Sawyer and Sawyer killed Locke’s dad for him because of a rediculous coincidence that Locke’s dad Anthony Cooper aka Tom Sawyer is the same person who had sex w/ Sawyer’s mom which resulted into the murder of his mom and his dad’s suicide. At the last episode of S3, Locke killed Naomi with his dagger while she was trying to call the rescuers from her radio? Have’nt he said that he is not a murderer? He could’nt even kill his dad who conned him his kidney and pushed him from the 8th floor of a building that caused his paralysis.
2. At the end of S3, Kate met with Jack near an airport (obviously they were able to get out of the Island). Why is Kate free? She blew up her moms house to commit insurance fraud, killed her step dad, commited a bank robbery, etc., etc. She should be in jail serving a life sentence.
3. Jack had an argument with a doctor who was questioning him if he had a drink (a spoiler clip, obviously a future scene that had happened). He said to bring his father down and if his father is more drunk than he is then, the doctor can fire him. Isn’t his dad already dead since S1?

1.i fink it may b sumit 2 do wiv the fact that he loves the island and he is willing 2 do anything 2 protect it and he had no idea who the girl was.. and he cudnt kill jak so it shows that he cannot harm any1 tht he bocomes “emotionaly” attached 2
2. i got no idea bout da heros but i recon that she is still on the run nd shes with sawyer who is protecting her or sumit.
3. i think that is a metaphor type thing asif that guy knows that his dad is dead and he knows why so jak is showing he is so f*ked up in da head coz of wat happened 2 him and how he made the wrong decision! i guess the island urm…became part of him or sumit and he feels the truth now..ie b4 he was just thinking of getting evry1 safe but now he realises that he needs it because he has no life in da real world.

listen people. some of them do get rescued and some of them dont, everything happens for a reason, ben dies in season 4 and locke becomes leader of the others, the people from niomis boat go to the island, they find the survivers of flight 815 but they hold them at gunpoint. you can see this on abc.com on the trailers for lost season 4. why are all you people saying that sawyer/locke/and others are in the coffin that jack went to??? where do you get the assumption that this is even one of them??? it is before the plane crash coz his dad is still alive and that woman needed surgery on her back (which he fixed, you’ll find that out if you follow from season 1) then when hes in the hospital his ex wife visits him, shes pregnant, now if you remeber when jack was being held prisoner by the others, he asked juliet if his ex sarah was happy she said yes and shes moved on and now has a family, so what we saw with jack being drunk some of it must have been from before.. . some of this is really confusing, also theres a lost video game coming out soon on xbox 360 and ps3 (ps3 are fucking shit but xbox are not)!! Roll on season 4 and i wish lost would never end, it’d be such a shame when it does :-(!!!

I Saw season 2 and 3 on DVD in one week. I’m going to do the same with Season 4, I will watch it all togather, but can you till me when it will be on DVD??? I think at the end of 2008.
for those of you that have not seen season 3 or are not getting the veiwing in your country you can buy it from magicpricing.com for about £18 and keep an eye out for season 4 because it will come out on this site before sold in shops as i think a company are recording from the telly or they have some sort of rights not sure and its half the price
