Eko

Jin-Soo Kwon
A fisherman’s son who courted Sun in secret but insisted on asking her wealthy father for permission to marry. He worked for her father as an enforcer after their wedding. In the island, he was estranged from Sun when he discovered she secretly learned English.

Charlie Pace
Bass player for successful UK band Drive Shaft with a heroin addiction. He was almost killed when they were kidnapped by sinister Ethan Rom.

Claire Littleton
Her boyfriend convinced her to have his baby, but was desperate to give up her baby for adoption after he walked out on her. In the island, she feels out of place because of her pregnancy.

Kate Austen
Fugitive from justice for several years and caused the death of her childhood boyfriend while resisting arrest. She bravely led the first exploration into the jungle.

Hugo Reyes
Won $156 million lottery with numbers from patient in a mental institution: 4 8 15 16 23 42. His laid-back humor keeps the survivors’ spirits up, yet he secretly believes his bad luck caused the crash. He panicked when he saw the winning numbers on the mysterious hatch right before Locke blew it open.

James Ford
He became a con man and adopted the name and methods of the man he holds responsible for his parents’ deaths.In the island, he plays all the angles and hoards supplies, booze, sunscreen; bought his way onto raft with hoarded supplies.

Jack Shephard
He was a spinal surgeon, just like his father and is driven by his need to help others. He became the reluctant leader who solves disputes with reason but not afraid to use guns or torture if necessary.

Sayid Jarrah
Communications Officer for Iraqi Republican Guard in first Gulf War, where he tortured and interrogated prisoners for the Iraqi government. He helped his childhood love Nadia escape prison. He was captured by a crazy French woman while exploring the island, and escaped with her island maps.

John Locke
He is a collections supervisor for a box company, and is a master of war and strategy games. He was miraculously able to walk again after the crash and used his skills to hunt and live off the land. He believes the island has brought them all here for a reason.

Sun Kwon
Rich girl who married Jin despite him being from a lower class. She learned English in secret so she could run away from her failing marriage. She later revealed she could speak English to the group when her husband was accused of burning the raft.

Benjamin Linus
Leader of the Others who ordered an infiltration of the crash survivors’ camps.
