A new character will be introduced in episode 3 this season. According to our friend SECRETAGENTMAN: Will recur. ‘Colleen’, late 30’s, tough, obvious military training. Doesn’t flinch when a gun is shoved in her face. Trusts few people on the island and only allows herself to be emotionally vulnerable in front of her significant other. [Source]

I can’t remember where i read it but in the new season more characters are being introduced. The ones who were just extras in the first two seasons.
