The Lost Experience, the ongoing online “alternative reality” game that promies to help fans solve some of the series mysteries, says that those who complete the third phase of the challenge will learn the meaning of the numerical sequence 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, and 42.
I haven’t finised the 3rd phase yet but if you do, please let us know what you find out!

If you add up the numbers (4, 8, 15,16, 23, 42) they equal 108. The number of minutes between button pushes is 108. Coincidence? I think not!
On the Season 2 DVD extra titled connections you can get to a screen that looks like the Computer. I entered 4,8,15,16,23,42 & got to a screen that each terminal showed each of the #’s being used in 6 or 7 scenes apeice in lost. At the end of selecting all 6 terminal, a screen shows 8+15=23 and
4+8+15+16+23+42=108, then shows the counter, then a blue book I could not read title to. I haven’t been able to retrace the connections that got me there. I’m sure others have got it too. Does anyone know the Title of the book ?

Each number stands for another survivor. Jacob labeled each of them with a number, example Locke was number 4. Ya! mystery solved!
