Follow up on ABC’s Lost Video Game

As stated previously, Lost the video game is being planned.

Today, Ubisoft announced that they will be developing a game directly tied in with ABCs Lost. The game will be developed for both PCs and consoles such as the XBox360, and PS3 and is scheduled to be released in 2007.

“We are delighted to work with Bryan Burk, one of the biggest producers in Hollywood and with Touchstone Television, said Yves Guillemot, CEO of Ubisoft. That they have chosen us for the adaptation of the cult series Lost is the best homage that a producer can make to the creativity of Ubisoft.”

Ubisoft will be working with Touchstone pictures in developing the game and want to create a Lost universe for people to come together and fully immerse themselves into the game and show even further. It is unknown what type of game it will be, but most likely in my opinion it will be a Sims type game where you have to build your character up and interact online with other players in order to build some what of a society and of course press the buttons every 108 minutes. As the seasons progress into Lost Seasons 3 and beyond to season 7 of Lost which they are contracted allready to make, the game can also be progressing and offering new stories for people to follow on the side with the widely used Xbox live, and Sonys new online service for the Playstation 3.

Lost producer Bryan Burk stated that With the ability to tell new interactive stories within the Lost universe, were giddy to be developing a game that, once completed, will be as engaging and fun to play as it is to create.
